A word about Jerusalem Cemetery

Jerusalem Cemetery dates back to the 1700s. A small cemetery on a steep hillside, the majority of the stones are badly weathered from the storms that sweep across the Middletown Valley and up the east side of South Mountain.

On May 30, 2015, those stones that had any visible wording were photographed in the hope that someone more skilled will be able to discern the lettering.

Sadly, the majority of the stones are so badly pitted no engraving can be seen.

Permission is given to copy the photographs as part of individual genealogy searches.
